15 Feb 09 - A note to all fans that I will not be riding at the Wrekin Speedway Challenge on Sunday 15 Mar 09 at Stoke. It appears that my regulations where decided on a club by club basis and that the running club's riders took preference over other clubs riders. Steven, my brother who was also due to ride at the same meeting has also pulled out of the meeting.

14 Feb 09 - Just heard that I have not been selected to ride at the Wrekin Grasstrack Speedway Challenge at Stoke on Sunday 15 Mar 09. Absolutely gutted and disappointed, but hey that racing. My first meeting will now be on Saturday 25 Apr 09 at the Rally Field (Malpass Nr Whitchurch).

5 Feb 09 - Sent in my racing regulations to-day in order to ride at the Formula Grass Speedway Challenge Meeting at Stoke Speedway Stadium on Sunday 15 Mar 09.

2 Feb 09 - Formula Grasstrack Association AGM is this Sunday, 8 Feb 09 at the Raven Hotel, Prees Heath, Whitchurch. Start time is 1300hrs prompt.

2 Feb 09 - Wrekin Club are holding a Speedway Challenge Meeting at Stoke Speedway Statium, Loomer Road, Newcastle under Lyme. Practice starts at 1100hrs with racing at 1300hrs. It is expected to be a good day's racing. Steve (My Brother) and I have entered.

25 Jan 09 - Attended the Whitchurch Club Meeting at The Swan Public House on the A556 at Bucklow Hill. Good attendance. Steve (my brother) and I have for this season decided to join the Whitchurch Club. The Whitchurch Club fixtures for the 2009 Grasstrack Season are as follows:

• Saturday 25 Apr 09 - Rally Field (Malpass Nr Whitchurch)
• Saturday 13 Jun 09 - Bickley (Malpass Nr Whitchurch)
• Saturday 4 Jul 09 - Rally Field (Malpass Nr Whitchurch)
• Saturday 25 Jul 09 - Crewe
• Saturday 15 Aug 09 - Crewe
• Saturday 19 Sep 09 - Whitchurch Meeting - Venue to be confirmed

Next Training Session:

Shobnall Leisure Centre at Burton on Trent has now closed down. The Club are in the process of looking for an alternative venue. If successful training should recommence around Spring 2009. Watch this space for more details.
